The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared a total of ₦1.928 trillion among the Federal Government, states, and local government councils as federation revenue for November 2025.
The allocation was approved at the FAAC meeting held in Abuja in December 2025. According to the communiqué, the distributable amount was derived from a gross revenue of ₦2.343 trillion, after deductions of ₦84.251 billion for cost of collection and ₦330.625 billion for transfers, interventions, and refunds.
From the total amount shared, the Federal Government received ₦747.159 billion, state governments got ₦601.731 billion, while local government councils received ₦445.266 billion. In addition, oil-producing states were allocated ₦134.355 billion as 13 per cent derivation revenue.
The ₦1.928 trillion distributable revenue comprised ₦1.403 trillion from statutory revenue, ₦485.838 billion from Value Added Tax (VAT), and ₦39.646 billion from the Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL).
Revenue figures showed a decline across major streams. Gross statutory revenue for November stood at ₦1.736 trillion, representing a drop of ₦427.969 billion from the ₦2.164 trillion recorded in October 2025. Similarly, gross VAT revenue fell to ₦563.042 billion from ₦719.827 billion in the previous month. EMTL recorded a gross revenue of ₦43.400 billion, out of which ₦39.646 billion was distributable.
The FAAC communiqué noted a moderate increase in excise duty revenue, but significant declines in Petroleum Profit Tax, Hydrocarbon Tax, Companies Income Tax from upstream activities, oil and gas royalties, import duty, CET levies, VAT, EMTL, and other revenue sources.
Overall, the November 2025 allocation represents a decrease compared to the ₦2.094 trillion shared among the three tiers of government for October 2025.
