Governor Bago Dissolves Appointments of Special Advisers

Governor Mohammed Umar Bago of Niger State has dissolved the appointments of all his Special Advisers as part of efforts to restructure governance and enhance effective service delivery in the state.

 

The decision was announced in a statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, during the Governor’s maiden Executive Council meeting with the newly sworn-in Commissioners at the Council Chamber of the Government House, Minna.

 

According to the statement, the dissolution is aimed at rejigging and repositioning the advisers’ portfolios to make them more effective and efficient, in line with the administration’s New Niger Agenda.

 

Governor Bago expressed appreciation to the affected advisers for their dedication, sacrifices, and contributions to the achievements recorded by his administration so far, and wished them success in their future endeavours.
