Pray for Peace, Safe Return of Schoolgirls — Kebbi Govt

by Imran Musa

The Kebbi State Government has appealed to religious leaders across the state to intensify prayers for the safe return of the abducted schoolgirls and for lasting peace in the state and the country at large.

The Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Muhammad Sani Aliyu, made the appeal while speaking to journalists about the tragic incident that occurred on Monday.

He emphasised that fervent prayers remain crucial in confronting such challenges, noting that nothing surpasses the will of God, who alone can deliver the nation from its current trials.

Muhammad Aliyu also urged residents to look out for one another by safeguarding their communities and refusing to aid criminal elements whose actions inflict hardship on the people.

The Commissioner, on behalf of the state government, expressed gratitude to individuals and groups who have been visiting to commiserate with Kebbi State over the abduction.

He extended heartfelt sympathy to the families of the kidnapped students and prayed for the girls’ safe and speedy return to their loved ones.
