The Dean, Faculty of Arts Federal University Birnin Kebbi, Prof Asabe Kabir Usman has urged newly admitted students to uphold discipline, integrity and dedication throughout their academic journey.
The advice was given at an orientation programme organised for fresh students of the 2025/2026 academic session in the Faculty of Arts.
The programme is aimed at acquainting the students with academic requirements and the general conduct expected of them within the university environment.
In their separate welcome remarks, Heads of Departments, including History and International Studies, as well as English and Literary Studies, advised the students to remain focused and committed to their studies.
Also speaking, the Examination Officer, Department of History and International Studies, Dr Ahmed Madawaki, cautioned students against examination malpractice, while Mr Hamza Zaruku, highlighted the need for proper use of available academic resources.
