Katsina Governor Radda Hails Kebbi’s Idris as North West Role Model

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, has described his Kebbi State counterpart, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, as a shining role model in infrastructural development for the North West region.

Governor Radda made the remarks on Saturday at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport, Birnin Kebbi, while speaking with journalists shortly after attending a wedding ceremony in the state.

He congratulated the people of Kebbi for electing Governor Idris, noting that his administration had transformed the state in less than two years through road construction, solar-powered streetlights, and modern buildings.

“My brother and colleague, His Excellency Nasir Idris, has recorded remarkable achievements within a short period in office. I boldly say Kebbi State is a model every state, especially in the North West, should emulate,” Governor Radda said.

The Katsina Governor, who was in Birnin Kebbi for the wedding of Salihu Dahiru Mangal and Engr. Hawwa’u Hassan Kangiwa, commended the warm reception accorded to his delegation. He also advised the newlyweds to embrace patience, perseverance, and mutual respect in their marriage, describing it as a sacred and honourable institution.

Governor Radda prayed for Allah’s blessings upon the union and for continued peace, security, and prosperity in the nation.

The Kebbi Governor, Idris, had served as the Waliyy at the marriage, giving out the bride’s hand with a dowry of ₦200,000.
