Kebbi Governor Hails Women as Formidable Force in winning elections

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, has described women as a formidable political force whose loyalty and numerical strength remain decisive in winning elections.

The Governor made the remark in Birnin Kebbi while addressing All Progressives Congress women leaders drawn from the 225 electoral wards of the state.

Dr. Idris praised the active participation of women in politics, assuring them of his administration’s continued commitment to their welfare and empowerment.

He urged women of voting age to register in the ongoing voter registration exercise and advised others to renew their voter cards, stressing that participation in elections begins with proper registration.

On his part, APC State Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Kana Zuru, commended the Governor for creating a direct platform to engage grassroots women leaders, describing the move as unprecedented in Kebbi’s political history.

Also speaking, the APC State Women Leader, Hajiya Aisha Gunabi, reaffirmed the loyalty of women across the state to the administration of Governor Idris.
