The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has approved the executive of the African Democratic Party, ADC.
The electoral umpire on its official website confirmed David Mark as the party’s National Chairman.
Others are the National Secretary, a position held by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
Mani, Ibrahim Ahmad is the National Treasurer of the party, Akibu Dalhatu as the
National Financial Secretary, while Prof Osunbor Oserheimen serves as the party’s National Legal Adviser .
Recall that following the decision of the coalition of political leaders to use the ADC as its vehicle for the 2027 general elections, a faction of the party had resisted the move, insisting they were the original owners of the party.
According to them, the likes of David Mark, Aregbesola and others were not duly registered members of the party and had no right to lay claims to the party.
