The Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has reaffirmed its commitment to providing all necessary support and effective arrangements to ensure that pilgrims perform their 2026 Hajj rites with comfort, orderliness, and peace of mind.
The declaration came during a high-level meeting at the Agency’s headquarters in Birnin Kebbi, presided over by the Chairman, Alhaji Faruk Aliyu Yaro,
The meeting brought together executive members, staff of the Agency, and Hajj leaders from across Kebbi State to discuss preparations for the upcoming pilgrimage.
Alhaji Faruk Aliyu Yaro provided clarification on the new policies recently introduced by Saudi authorities, highlighting critical areas of compliance for Nigerian pilgrims.
Key components of the regulations include the payment of Hajj fares before 5th December 2025, arrangements for accommodation, transportation from Nigeria to the Holy Land, and provisions for the Masha’ir Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifa.
Participants at the meeting deliberated on strategies to ensure a smooth, well-organized operation, emphasizing coordination, timely communication, and adherence to the new Saudi requirements.
The Board also urged all intending pilgrims to make timely payments for their Hajj seats, noting that full payment must now be completed in Nigeria, in line with the updated Saudi guidelines.
