The National Orientation Agency, NOA, in Kebbi State has organized a sensitization campaign in Birnin Kebbi aimed at ensuring a smooth and peaceful conduct of the forthcoming general election across the state.
The Kebbi State Director of NOA, Malam Nasiru Muhammad Karofi, explained that the campaign is designed to educate the public on the importance of peaceful participation, adherence to electoral guidelines, and respect for the rule of law before, during, and after the election.
Malam Nasiru Karofi called on residents to shun violence, avoid the spread of misinformation, and cooperate with relevant authorities to ensure a credible electoral process.
He added that the exercise would be extended to the grassroots level to ensure the successful conduct of the forthcoming general election.
The NOA reaffirmed its commitment to promoting civic responsibility and sustaining democratic values among the populace.
Papers were presented during the event, focusing on raising awareness about conducting elections without bitterness.
