Senator representing Kebbi Central, Senator Muhammad Adamu Aliero, has extended financial assistance to small and medium-scale entrepreneurs in his constituency.
The initiative, carried out in collaboration with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), featured a two-day training on different business ventures, after which cash grants were disbursed to participants.
Speaking at the event held at Saffar Conference Hall in Birnin Kebbi, Alhaji Atiku Bunu, who represented Senator Aliero, explained that the programme was designed to empower people across Kebbi Central.
He emphasized that the senator remains committed to improving education, healthcare, empowerment, infrastructure, and the general welfare of his constituents.
Under the scheme, 300 beneficiaries drawn from the seven local government areas of Kebbi Central received ₦50,000 each, while an additional 400 beneficiaries from Birnin Kebbi Local Government also benefited from the support.
