APC Records Over Two Million E-Registered Members

The All Progressives Congress (APC) says more than two million members have been digitally registered and verified nationwide, just one week after the launch of its membership e-registration exercise.

The party’s National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, disclosed this in Abuja while providing an update on the ongoing exercise.

He described the e-registration as a critical step toward building a cohesive and well-structured party capable of mobilising widespread support for President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Senator Basiru noted that although several states are yet to fully commence the exercise, over two million Nigerians have already been captured on the party’s digital platform with their voter registration numbers.

According to him, with increasing participation across states, the APC expects its verified digital membership to rise to between eight and nine million by the next assessment scheduled for next week.

He urged party stakeholders at the state and grassroots levels to give the exercise maximum attention to ensure its success.

The APC scribe also commended governors, state chairmen and other party leaders for their commitment and resources deployed so far, adding that identified challenges are being addressed through continuous engagement.

Senator Basiru explained that the e-registration exercise was approved by the party’s National Executive Council at its December 2025 meeting, with a directive that all APC members nationwide must be digitally registered before the end of January 2026.
