Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has renewed his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) through the party’s newly introduced electronic voter registration (E-registration) platform.
The governor completed the digital registration exercise at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi, where he was enrolled as Registration Number 001, in recognition of his position as the state’s chief executive and leader of the party in Kebbi.
APC executives from Birnin Kebbi Local Government Area, led by the chairman, Alhaji Sani Bello, as well as members of the party’s State Executive Committee, were present to witness the exercise.
Also in attendance were the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida, and the member representing Suru/Bagudo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Bello Abubakar Kaoje, who both completed their E-registrations shortly after the governor.
Speaking with journalists after the exercise, Bello Abubakar Kaoje urged APC members across the state to participate fully in the ongoing registration exercise taking place in all wards.
He noted that the E-registration is crucial to strengthening the party’s database and preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
