INEC Resumes PVC Registration in Kebbi, Urges Eligible Voters to Enrol

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Kebbi State Office has resumed the second phase of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, urging eligible citizens to register and obtain their Permanent Voters Card (PVC).

The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alhaji Abubakar S/ Pawa Dambo while addressing stakeholders at the state’s office in kebbi, emphasized the importance of being registered and collection of PVC to support for the exercise’s success.

The CVR exercise, which began on January 5, 2026, will run until April 17, 2026, and is open to new registrants, registered voters seeking for updates or corrections, and those who lost or damaged their PVCs and transferred to another location.

The exercise will be conducted at INEC local government Offices, State Headquarters, and Registration Area Centres/wards across the state.

Dambo appealed to stakeholders to sensitize their communities on the need to register and at the same time collect their voters card and appeal to all stakeholders to sensitize their people on the need to go and obtain their PVCs as it is the only instrument that will qualify them to vote.

The commission has assured stakeholders of its commitment to upholding the highest level of integrity and openness throughout the exercise, adding that INEC is committed to upholding the highest level of integrity, openness, and level playing ground for the smooth exercise.
