The Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Usman Zuru, has congratulated the newly appointed Emir of Zuru, Alhaji Sanusi Mika’ilu Sami, Gomo the Third, on his emergence as the 12th Emir of Zuru.
The Speaker, accompanied by Hon. Muhammad Garba Bena of Danko/Wasagu East and Hon. Lawal Haruna Gele of Fakai Constituency, paid a courtesy visit to the new Emir at his palace in Zuru town.
During the visit, Speaker Mohammed Usman Zuru urged the Emir to carry everyone along in discharging his responsibilities and prayed for Allah’s guidance and protection as he leads the Emirate Council.
He also commended Governor Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, for ensuring a transparent process that produced the new Emir.
Responding, the Emir of Zuru, Alhaji Sanusi Mika’ilu Sami, expressed gratitude to the Speaker and his entourage for the visit and pledged to justify the confidence reposed in him.
