Radio Nigeria Equity FM Partners Kebbi State Teaching Hospital to Boost Health Education

The General Manager of Radio Nigeria Equity FM, Birnin Kebbi, Malam Adamu Ahmad Mohammad, has reaffirmed the station’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with the Kebbi State Teaching Hospital, Kalgo, to promote public health awareness.

Malam Adamu stated this during a courtesy visit to the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Abubakar Attahiru Kaoje, accompanied by members of the station’s management team.

He said the collaboration would enhance the dissemination of health information and invited the hospital’s medical experts to participate regularly in the station’s health programmes.

Responding, Dr. Kaoje appreciated the visit and assured the management of the hospital’s readiness to work closely with Radio Nigeria Equity FM in educating the public on healthcare issues.

He explained that while some health interventions are implemented by partner agencies, the hospital remains committed to supporting public enlightenment through the media.

The Chief Medical Director also highlighted the hospital’s electricity and water supply challenges and urged journalists to verify information before publication to prevent the spread of misinformation.

Malam Adamu assured the hospital that Radio Nigeria Equity FM staff adhere strictly to professional ethics by verifying information before broadcast, as both organisations pledged to sustain their partnership for the benefit of the public.
