The wife of Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nafisa Nasir Idris, has urged women who have reached the age of 18 and those without a Permanent Voter’s Card to take advantage of the ongoing registration exercise.

She made the call during an empowerment program for 500 women in Kamba, Dandi Local Government Area, organized by the Commissioner of Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajiya Halima Hassan Kamba.

Dr. Nafisa commended the Commissioner for the initiative, describing it as a reflection of the Kaura Gwandu–led administration’s commitment to touching lives positively.

She advised the beneficiaries to use the support judiciously and engage in ventures that would make them self-reliant.

Chairman of Dandi Local Government and State Assembly Member, Dr. Sulaiman Abubakar Fana, each donated ₦1 million to support the association, alongside other contributions.

Dignitaries, including APC leaders, lawmakers, and community heads, praised the initiative, stressing that it will reduce idleness and improve livelihoods in the area.
