The Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy to the Kebbi State Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Idris Zuru, has assured political organisations advocating the achievements of Governor Nasir Idris of his support and cooperation.
Zuru made this known at his residence in Birnin Kebbi while receiving members of the “No Vacancy Network 001 and 002.”
He stated that the significant federal presence in Kebbi State is enough reason for residents to support the second-term bids of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris.
According to him, the visible infrastructural development across various parts of Kebbi State demonstrates the commitment of both the federal and state governments to improving the lives of the people.
Describing the Badagry–Sokoto Super Highway as a game changing project, Zuru said the road would positively impact no fewer than two million people in Kebbi and Sokoto states.
He added that the economic benefits of the project, when completed, would be enormous and immeasurable.
He also highlighted the social security interventions being implemented by both the federal government and the Kebbi State Government to lift millions of Nigerians out of poverty.
Zuru further commended the efforts of the Kebbi State Governor’s wife in reducing poverty through various women empowerment programmes.
Earlier in his remarks, the Kebbi State Coordinator of the organisation, Alhaji Nasiru Turakin Masama, said the group was formed with coordinators across the 21 local government areas of the state to mobilise support for the re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Idris.
Masama noted that continuity in governance should become a norm in the country because of its importance to societal growth and development.
